BRING A FRIEND NIGHT!
We will be hosting Bring a Friend night on October 12th. All active Learn to Skate session skaters are encouraged to bring friend(s) or family to try an evening of skating with them. Skate Rental available for $3. No Limit on how many friends/family may accompany members. All participants need to check-in + Liability & photo waiver must be signed for all non-Learn to Skate Members before getting on the ice. PDF of the guest consent form available for download here

Sept 11 - Oct 28th

Practice/Free time will be after instruction for Class 1 and before instruction for the 2nd class

Monday

Class 1: 5:15 - 6p: Snowplow 1 - 3, Basic Skills 1 - 3, Hockey 1-2Ice Dance 1 - 6*

Class 2: 5:45 - 6:30p: Basic Skills 4 - 6, PreFreeskate, Freeskate 1 - 6, Hockey Skills 3 - 4, Adult/Teen Skills

 

Thursday

Class 1: 5:30 - 6:15p

Snowplow 1 - 3, Basic Skills 1 - 3, Hockey 1 - 2, Adult/Teen Skills

Class 2: 6 - 6:45p

Basic Skills 4 - 6, Hockey 3 - 4, PreFreeskate, Freeskate 1 - 6, Adult/Teen Skills

 

Friday

***Hockey (PSP), Power Skating+: 6:30 - 7:15p: Must have a minimum of 3 Skaters registered to hold class. The 45 minute Class includes On-Ice Warm-up + 30 mins on-ice skill work

 

Saturday

Class 1: 10:15a - 11am

Snowplow 1 - 3, Basic Skills 1 - 3, Hockey 1 - 2, Adult/Teen Skills

Class 2: 10:45am - 11:30a

Basic Skills 4 - 6, Hockey 3 - 4, PreFreeskate, Freeskate 1 - 6

Class 3: 11:30a - 12:15p

Adult/Teen Skills, Intro to Club Skating*, Ice Dance on the last 2 Saturday's of the session

We offer a PICK-YOUR-DAYS class schedule!

Our Learn to Skate calendar is determined by the Master Arena Schedule. There are times during a session that Arena events make it so that we will not be able to have class. Because of this we created the 'Pick-Your-Days' model. All class levels are purchased in packages of 6 - 10 Classes with the option to add-on a class to fill out your schedule.

Learn to Skate Classes- Snowplow Sam for ages 3-6, Basic Skills ages 7+, Hockey Skills ages 7+, and Freestyle classes for those who have moved beyond the Basic Skills levels. 

Teen/Adult Skills for ages 13+- This class teaches the basics of skating to teenagers and adults. No skating experience necessary.

Focused Skills Skating Classes
Ice Dance Class- for skaters who have reached Basic 6 or higher. This class focuses on the discipline of Ice Dancing. Learn the basics of Ice Dancing according to the Learn to Skate USA Ice Dance Curriculum. This specialty class will be 30 minutes of instruction that will focus on ice dancing. Instruction will cover the basics of ice dance, edges, timing to music, knee bend and posture. 

Hockey Power Skating + : Hockey Power Skating+: ages 6+ and Passed Hockey Skills 1. Helmet, Stick, and Gloves REQUIRED.
~Full Gear is encouraged but not required. There will not be pucks on the ice unless all participants have full gear.~
This is a class focusing on Edges, Power Skating, Stamina, Passing, Hand-Eye coordination and sportsmanship.
45min Class: On-Ice Warm-up + 30 mins on-ice skill work. 
- Must have minimum 3 Skaters pre-paid/registered to hold class

*The ASPIRE Class  is getting a makeover and becoming "Intro to Club Skatingfor skaters who have reached Basic Skills 4 or higher. We will have more exciting details on what is new by September 14th! Our main goal with Intro to Club Skating is to create a team environment for skaters as well as enhance their techniques and focus on the skaters as a whole person not only an athlete. It will also be an opportunity for skaters to gain exposure to other styles/specialties of skating in our wide world of skating options! There are opportunities for parent meetings to help guide you through your first years as a skating parent, navigating how to buy skates, enter competitions, skater nutrition, what different skills look like and so much more! -Must have minimum 3 Skaters pre-paid/registered to hold class
