Bridge Club
The Troy Skating Club Bridge Club is open to any skaters who are Basic 5 and above. The Bridge Club is designed for developing skaters who are taking further interest in the sport of figure skating, and are interested in exploring what more the sport has to offer. Bridge Club skaters meet once a week for 45 min (15 min of free practice time) of group instruction where they work on improving their skating skills, learning new techniques beyond the Learn to Skate USA curriculum as well as about competition, music interpretation, and how to practice independently. This is also a great opportunity for young skaters to develop social relationships with other skaters with similar goals. Many of these skaters have begun taking private lessons, or are considering them.
Skaters can participate in the Bridge Club until they complete their Freeskate levels or take their first USFS Tests. From this point skaters can join Senior Club and move toward exclusively private lessons and any specialty classes.
Bridge Club members are required to have an introductory membership for their first time in Bridge and then a full skating membership there after.
