Highlights of our new procedures
(for the full list of our COVID-19 protocols and procedures see the skater information form linked above)

Multiple Hand sanitizing stations will be made available.

Maximum of 25 skaters at any given time on the ice.  There will be a maximum of 5 coaches on the ice with the skaters.  Skaters will be placed in small groups to help with controlling social distancing.

All participants and their parents/guardians are required to wear a mask when entering and exiting the facility.   Troy Skating Club will provide disposable masks for skaters if they don’t have one.

All coaches, skaters and parents/guardians must do a self-symptom check before coming to the arena.  Anyone experiencing symptoms must stay home.

Limit of 2 spectators only accompanying each skater during their session.  No other children, siblings, adults, etc. are permitted.  No congregating will be permitted in the seats or corridors before, during or after sessions.

For skaters who own their own skates, they are asked to arrive with their skates on with their skate guards. They are asked to remove their skates one once they have exited the building and are back in their cars. Shoes will not be taken by arena staff from those renting rental skates.

Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your session and leave no later than 15 minutes after your session ends.

Seats will be located in the corridors 6’ apart for each skater when they arrive to get prepared to take the ice.   Instructors will then get the skaters when it is their time for instruction.

Seating sections will be designated for people accompanying skaters.  Family members may sit together socially distanced by 6’ from other families.  These areas will be sanitized every 2 hours.

Entry will be in the south lobby.  Exit out the south west doors.

Entry and exit to and from the ice will be at 2 different locations as designated by Hobart Arena.

We can't wait to see you on the ice!
